For us, wine growing is also a life long opportunity to indulge, close-up, our fascination with the wonderful complexity of Old World grape varieties, planted in the Adelaide Hills in some of the oldest soils in the world. Likewise, our winemaking is about a return from modern, large-scale methods to classic, hands-on viticulture and oenology: traditional production methods, the careful use of indigenous wild yeast fermentations, minimal intervention and fine European oak barriques for aging.
